Route 66 Announces New Smart Phones’ Application

A new smart phones-application branded "Mobile 8" which is a kind of mapping software has been released by Route 66, the application is suitable for smart phones and pocket PCs that has a Windows mobile platform.

A mapping and navigation software company, Route 66 has been able to offer the industry with a product that will stand the test of time considering the great features that accompanied the product.

Top on the list are its high definition maps and a quick search definition folder, and others equally rewarding features are voice guided navigation, sync application to administer and transfer maps to and from your PC and content available for purchase, such as: traffic, weather, travel guides, and map updates at the city, regional, and country level.

Although, available in some countries of Europe, it is yet to be released in the US.
