Suzuki Offers Free GPS System

Suzuki, the Japanese car manufacturer is among the few car manufacturers that are putting safety of their customers above board and this time around it has gone through a lot in ensuring that the best are offered by offering free GPS system in its 2009 vehicle models.
The company has contracted the design of the GPS systems to Garmin which developed Volvo and BMW's GPS systems.
Suzuki revealed that any model it develops that is above $16,000 will be equiped with new GPS systems. The system will function just like the popular ones with a preloaded street maps and Navteq mapping software and a ton of Points of Interest where the user can search for attractions like restuarants, movie theaters and other point of interst as pre-determined. It will show real-time traffic and weather forecasts and will feature Bluetooth technology for easy connectivity.
Another inresting feature is that the system will be portable making it possible for its useability in another car. This will soon be available by Summer through  local Suzuki dealer.
