In spite of the economy melt-down, many Americans will not deny themselves summer holiday and of course most will take memorable pictures and wouldn't it be rather better to tag each of those pictures with the exact location where they were taken.

It is powered by an 1,100-mAH rechargeable lithium ion battery that provides 32 hours of tracking in continuous mode or up to 2,000 hours in standby mode. The 16-channel GPS receiver chipset is from Nemerix and has a rated sensitivity of -152 dBm (decibels below 1 milliwatt).
with PhotoFinder electronic accessory you'll always know Your travels are mapped. With Google Maps locating your camera location and much more Convenient pocket-size PhotoFinder GPS software keeps a log of everywhere you go; time, date and geographical information and embeds it into the photos you take with your digital camera Your photos become 'trackable' not only by traditional keyword tags, but also by location (even the street address) when you upload them to photo-sharing sites like Flickr.
Installing the software is quite straightforward. As with the other devices, you first have to install a driver that converts USB to Serial data. During the installation process, you are also prompted to go to the Google Web site to download a Google Maps API key. The key generated by Google is automatically installed with your software.
The Trip Records function lets you download the log file from the device as well as play back your trip. The "My Online Photo" function lets you seamlessly upload selected photos to your choice of Flickr, Locr, Picasa Web Album, or SmugMug.
Another nifty feature is a vibration sensor, which saves on storage space and battery life. If the device doesn't detect motion within a specified period of time, it goes into standby mode. When you start moving again, it powers up automatically and resumes logging.
